1. What data we collect

When you use CSNetworth, we process the following information:

• Steam ID lookups — We resolve Steam IDs, profile URLs, or usernames to public Steam profiles in order to fetch inventory data.
• Cached inventory data — We temporarily store public inventory listings and calculated totals so repeat lookups are faster and shareable preview images can be generated. This cache is automatically aged out.

2. Where prices come from

All item prices shown on CSNetworth are fetched directly from the Steam Community Market. We are not a marketplace and do not process transactions. Prices are cached for up to one hour to improve performance.

3. Data we do not collect

We do not collect passwords, Steam API keys, payment information, or private inventory data. We only access public Steam profiles and inventories that users choose to look up.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and localStorage solely for:

• Remembering your cookie-consent preference
• Basic error and performance telemetry to improve reliability

We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or building behavioral profiles.

5. Third-party services

We rely on the following third parties:

• Steam / Valve — inventory data and Community Market prices are fetched from Valve's public APIs.
• Cloudflare — we use Cloudflare for DNS and edge caching.

6. Your data is not sold

CSNetworth does not sell, rent, or trade personal data with third parties. We do not share collected data with advertisers or data brokers.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. We do not store Steam credentials, passwords, or trade secrets.
